This is an amazing place. All of the teachers are wonderful, they truly do care. My oldest has sensory processing issues and can overload easily but none of the teacher ever act like it’s an issue or inconvenience when it does happen, they work with her to help her master it herself. Since starting here she has been able to handle overloads without meltdowns frequently and it has also really improved her coordination and core strength. The self discipline and confidence it has instilled in her is amazing. So very worth it.

Biography

My rank is Nidan (2^ND Degree Black Belt) in Kami Bushi Do Karate. I have also trained in Krav Maga Maleh and Okinawan Kobujutsu. I have been studying martial arts since I was 6, when Harris Holt opened, and I have grown up around martial arts and, in the dojo, since I was around 2. I have a passion for working with kids of all ages. Therefore, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Chemistry with a minor in Pre-Med in hopes of becoming a Physician’s Assistant in Pediatrics. Martial Arts has rewarded me with the confidence, drive, and self-discipline that I have incorporated in my life, as well as some of my closest friends. Also, my name is pronounced (nuh-VEY-hee).
