I am a Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Karate, and a Brown 3rd Kyu Judo/ Jiu-Jitsu. I work at CDE as a Technician/Installer. I started Karate in 1998 when I was 16. I started Judo/Jiu-Jitsu almost 2 years ago. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, and Internet Technology and a Minor in Graphic Design. I hold rank in Judo/Jiu-Jitsu and Karate. I started taking martial arts because I didn’t like team sports and I wanted to learn how to defend myself. My hobbies include: attending Karate, Judo, and Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. In NAGA I have placed 2nd in No Gi (Uniform), 3rd in Gi, 2 3rd places in Marty Eubanks Pro Am in Grappling, and a 2nd place in continuous sparring at Pro Am.
My Favorite Quote is, “Get busy living or get busy dying.” – Shaw Shank Redemption.
My goals are: Getting Sandan and to continue to practice karate/judo/Jiu-Jitsu. The most important aspect of martial arts is the perfecting of your own techniques. All of your preparation for testing, life, or competing falls back on you and you only.
